Brand disclosure: This guide is written by the Healthy Woof team, the seller of the products discussed. It explains our jar sizes and supply calculations; it is not an independent product review or veterinary advice.
A jar marked “60 scoops” does not necessarily mean 60 days of use. The number of days depends on the daily serving on your dog's label and, if you share a jar, how many dogs use it. Start with the serving directions, then compare the amount of powder you need.
Compare grams and scoops first
Healthy Woof is available in three jar sizes. One scoop is 2 g, so the net weight and scoop count describe the same quantity in different ways.
| Jar size | Net powder weight | Scoops per jar |
|---|---|---|
| Small | 60 g | 30 |
| Medium | 120 g | 60 |
| Large | 240 g | 120 |
Jar size describes the amount in the container. It does not replace the weight-based serving directions. Use the scoop supplied with the product and read the actual Healthy Woof label before choosing a refill schedule. If a direction is unclear for your dog, ask your veterinarian.
Calculate how long a jar will last
Estimated days of supply = scoops in the jar ÷ total scoops used each day. The examples below are arithmetic comparisons, not serving recommendations.
| Total daily use | 60 g jar | 120 g jar | 240 g jar |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 scoop | 30 days | 60 days | 120 days |
| 2 scoops | 15 days | 30 days | 60 days |
| 3 scoops | 10 days | 20 days | 40 days |
For example, a 120 g jar contains 60 scoops. At a label-directed serving of two scoops each day, it provides approximately 30 days of powder. Two of those jars contain 120 scoops altogether and provide approximately 60 days at the same daily use. Spills and variation in measuring can change the actual duration.
For a household with more than one dog
Work out each dog's serving separately, then add the daily scoops together. If one dog's directions call for one scoop and another's call for two, the household uses three scoops per day. A 240 g jar then provides approximately 40 days. Do not divide the powder equally between dogs with different serving requirements.
Compare cost per day, not only the price on the jar
Use the current total at checkout and the estimated supply duration: cost per day = total purchase price ÷ estimated days of supply. This makes it easier to compare different jar sizes and packs. Prices and offers can change, so use the current catalog rather than an old advertisement or screenshot.
Keep purchase type separate from serving size. A one-time order has no automatic refill. A subscription has a recurring price, quantity and delivery schedule. Check all three before paying, and choose a schedule that fits your household's actual use. A delivery interval is not a promise about when results will appear.
What a scoop count cannot tell you
The amount of powder in a jar does not prove clinical effectiveness or predict your dog's outcome. Ingredient information, serving directions and product-specific evidence answer different questions. For dental products that claim a VOHC Seal of Acceptance, check the exact product in the Veterinary Oral Health Council's accepted-products list; a claim about another product is not evidence for this one.
Keep brushing and veterinary dental care in the routine. The American Veterinary Medical Association recommends daily brushing when possible. Dental powder should not be used to postpone an examination when your dog has oral pain or other dental concerns.
